The Globe is a superb country mansion in the heart of the peaceful coastal village of Angle on the Pembrokeshire coast. Built in 1904 in "colonial style", listed Grade II, it's just been renovated and upgraded to provide luxury comfort, technology and style with original art and both modern and traditional touches to all its rooms
Built as a hotel - it's carved in big letters on the wall, it served as the main pub with rooms in the village until the early 1990s, was then renovated and used for holiday lets. Now it's a grand mansion again, the cast iron staircase stripped back to its original metal, new slate flagstones on the floor, luxury ensuite bathrooms, chic semi-commercial kitchen, solar boosted heating, and wi-fi everywhere, making it a luxurious spacious and comfortable place to stay.
This unique Edwardian property is particularly suitable for large groups, children of all ages and pets are welcome too. As well as all the inside amenities, a large, garden, barbecue and an eight-person hot tub provide everything you need for a luxurious holiday in one of the most beautiful parts of Pembrokeshire. We are grateful for a grant from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development@ Europe investing in Rural Areas
This grant enabled us to create the new dining room, seating up to 40 people, a multi function room with tv, sound system and panoramic views over the garden and fields at the back of the house, and also restore the old stone shed at the end of the garden
